 According to this news, new amd quad-core phenom 9500 processor of AMD was tested under Ubuntu 7.10. At these tests, they were looked OpenGL gaming, LAME encoding, Ogg encoding, Gzip compression, timed kernel compilation, and RAMspeed. They were used Enemy Territory, Quake 4, and Enemy Territory for OpenGL gaming benchmarks. And They had used compiled 2.6.13-12 Linux kernel for the test.
